Trevor's Plan for Brisbane

Trevor's Plan for Brisbane

My Local Plan

Before I was elected, I promised to be as visible, accessible, responsive and thoughtful about what matters to people in Brisbane. Since then, I've been working hard to follow through on that promise, and I'm proud of what we've achieved together as a community. However, there's more to deliver: the economic recovery plan, rolling out the City Deal for South East Queensland, the Brisbane Metro, more recycling facilities and making Brisbane ready for the 2032 Olympics and Paralympics. With your support, I'll keep working hard to be a strong voice for Brisbane, delivering on the issues that matter most for improving our lives and lifestyle in beautiful Brisbane.

Fixing Local Roads

I'm working to deliver better roads and infrastructure to get you home sooner and safer. As well as having delivered funding for the Brisbane Metro and fixing local blackspots, I'm fighting for federal funding for Brisbane's Green Bridges and to upgrade important roads like Newmarket Rd.

Supporting Local Families

I will always work to make sure families in Brisbane have access to the best education, healthcare and affordable childcare to help local families get ahead. I'm also fighting for improved local disability, aged care and mental health support services for Brisbane families.

Securing Our Economic Recovery

Our economic recovery plan is delivering lower taxes and record jobs, including for women and young people. I'm fighting for further incentives for Brisbane's small business sector and support for Brisbane's arts and entertainment sector which have been badly hit by the pandemic.

More Renewables and Recycling

Real action on climate change with a fully costed plan to get to net zero emissions by 2050, and investing in renewables. I'm also working closely with Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner to deliver better recycling and sustainability options for Brisbane families and small businesses.

Protecting Our Local Environment

I'm strongly supporting our local catchment and bushcare groups with funding for key environmental projects, including record funding for improving the health of the Brisbane River, removing plastics pollution from our waterways, and fighting to regenerate public green spaces.
